CONTENT is still king on websites but the way one words it definitely matters!
Your information needs to be presented concisely, while retaining the impression that your readers are in touch with a real but knowledgeable individual or organisation
If your 'copy' is spoilt by spelling mistakes and grammatical errors it could be hard to convince visitors to your website that you do have other talents. (And while we're on the subject of spelling some of you may have noticed that I spelt 'organisation' with an 's' instead of a 'z' - because I don't live in the United States of America. However, when working for other people I adapt, easily.)
Style of writing is also important as it varies from website to website. If you have read my Curriculum Vitae you will be aware that, having written for a variety of consumer magazines, trade journals and newspapers, I don't have a problem with style.
