IT was a relief
to discover I wasn't the only moron. For a time it seemed as if everyone else
was into computers while I remained a technical dinosaur. Then, as I began to
find the way around a recently acquired PC, I went into messiah mode and started
publishing the monthly ezine, Newbies, Nerds & Nitwits
Like most converts I needed to spread my message urgently... Namely that all technical
'stuff' is not necessarily life-threatening, once it has been translated into
basic English, and dealing with the technicalities can be fun
(even better than crosswords). In addition I wanted other PC newbies to know that, with a little determination, they could work wonders. Naturally there is a link at the end of this section where you
can subscribe to my marvellous ezine - and read the latest issue.
During my learning curve I came across The Newbie Club, a website packed
with information.
I must admit I beat the TNC drum frequently having found their
eBooks and tutorials most impressive. To visit this site click on the logo on
the right and you won't be disappointed. Another site well worth checking out
is NewbiesAnd Nitwits.com, particularly if you know someone who is feeling
